Clicking the System Politics link in the left menu takes you to the System Political Center where you can vote for your System Leader.
One planet in your solar system is elected the System Leader and has authority to set system login messages,
moderate the system forum and is usually the contact for others outside your system who need to discuss system matters.
The System Leader also sets the name, treaties, and announcement for display in the header of your solar system,
and receives a 10% defensive military bonus as a reward for all of this work.
